Good evening and God Bless

I want to wish my mom and dad a Happy 50th Anniversary. They celebrated 50 years this past Saturday with a visit back to their home. For those who do not know, my mom had a stroke in February, and it affected her right side and her speech. Her and my dad have been living with my brother in Trussville, Alabama, while their home is in North Alabama. So this was a special occasion for them both. My aunt went with them to help take care of my mom. I didn't get to go on Saturday to be with friends and family, but my wife and I got up on Sunday morning at 5:00 a.m. and headed that way, surprising my mom and dad wonderfully.  My mom looked like a million dollars, if not two.  She was all decked out, from where my aunt had fixed her hair and put make up on for more of the family to come by and see her.

The first praise came when they said my mom, while my aunt was putting on face cream for her on Saturday night, began to smile real big and and grabbed my aunts hand, and just began taking her hand and rubbing on the side of her face. And what they finally figured out was that the feeling on the right side of my mom's face had come back.  PRAISE GOD!!! My mom they said was beside herself.  The other praise came when after my wife and I got there on Sunday morning, she got herself up on the side of the bed, pointed at her walker, and stood up and took 4-5 steps across the living room. She did this twice that day!!!  PRAISE GOD--PRAISE GOD

The other miracle came today, when I called my dad at my brothers to wish him a Happy 76th Birthday.  Dad said that after they had eaten his birthday dinner, mom laid back on her bed, and then began mumbling in her own little way that lets everybody know she needs something, and began point back in the dining room.  Come to find out, she was pointing at the portable potty chair. She leaned up, got up with help, and sat on the pot and went to the restroom. The first time not to have to go in her diaper since her stroke.  PRAISE GOD!!!!! She can feel when she needs to go. They are so excited, as we are too, so they are going back this weekend and spending the Fourth of July at home.  My aunt will go with my dad again to help out.

You know, one of the previous posts was about entertaining angels, and the elderly black, blind gentleman who said my favor was coming, maybe this was what he was speaking of.  But we praise God no matter what, because He is still moving in our lives.

We as a family are still waiting patiently for what God has in store for us.  I do have a question for some advice on.  A friend of mine is working in a store, and they have witnessed workers stealing from customers, and the company they are working for. They are afraid of losing their job, so they have not said anything yet. They feel like accomplices, because this goes on daily, but they need insurance coverage and a paycheck. What advice would you have so I can pass it on.

Be blessed brothers and sisters in Christ this evening, and May God shine His everlasting love and blessings upon each of you.

In His Grip and Loving It,

Jeff
