Midnight Phone Call Miracle

Good evening,

Received a phone call last night at 11:30 p.m.. It took me a couple of minutes to find the phone, because I was out of it.  After I answered the phone, I was a little bit unnerved to hear my dad's voice. But praise God, the first words out of his mouth was that mom was okay.  For those who do not know, my mom and dad had to move in with my brother and his family because my mom had a stroke in February.  Dad continued on and was sure enough to tell me that mom was okay, but that she was feeling real down, and was crying and feeling the blues.  My mom can't talk but she can mumble real well, and dad just knew that mom was depressed. My mom and dad had just gotten back home from staying at their own house for a few days, and was in the big empty house at my brothers because his whole family was own vacation.

Dad said he just wanted me to talk to mom and pray with her and encourage her. He put the phone down by her ear, and I heard him tell me to start. Well, I didn't start, but the Holy Spirit did, and I began to pray for my momma, and just uplift her and encourage her. I could hear her crying, and it just made me pray harder, and let my momma know she was going to be okay, not to let the devil bring her down. I prayed with her for about ten minutes, and then told my dad I loved him and went back to bed.

I spoke to my dad this morning to see how mom was, and he said by the time he had gotten back to bed himself last night, mom had fallen asleep and him and her both slept until 7:00 am this morning.  PRAISE GOD!!!!!!! Thank you Jesus for comforting my mother and my father and allowing them to rest and for removing the demon of doubt and depression and sadness from my mom. Dad said she really needed that, and I told my dad that please don't let her get that way, just call whenever mom needed to prayer and an uplift from the Lord. I thank you Lord, for your visitation with my mom and dad last night.

In Your Grip and Loving It,

Jeff
