Emmaus Love

Good evening,

Was on my from work to church tonight, and the thirty minute drive was a cool one.  I was listening to the radio, as I was praying and thanking God for today, and the wonderful day I had, when the song came across the radio that Sawyer Brown sings about the wife who was on the bus with all her children acting wild, and other people didn't understand what she had been through, and the older man on the interstate driving real slow, who had lost his wife, and his children didn't know him any more, and I just began to weep. I am sorry, I am a softy. And then the song "Emmaus Love" by Newsong came on my cd, and I began to thank God for that Emmaus Love that he has for us. Just like on the road to Emmaus, walking with the disciples and explaining to them what had just happened. You see everyday He does walk with us, and carries us through the things that we face. That surrounding, never leaving type of love. Yes, we leave Him, and go through things, but despite of what we are going through, He never leaves us.  That Emmaus kind of love that teaches us, and shows us what and who we are supposed to be in Him, and what He wants for us. I began to praise God for what He has done for me and my family. Times are rough, and times are hard, but Praise God, His Emmaus Love has provided a home for us, provided money to get by for us, but most of all, it has provided our salvation, our healing, both spiritually and physically. Praise God! Thank You Jesus for what You have done in our lives, and the excitement still builds for what You are going to do, and the things that You are taking us through right now, and what You are taking us over and above. Thank You Lord, for Your grace and mercy, that continues to lift me up, when I do wrong. Lord, be with those who do not know that Emmaus Love that You and only You can give. I pray for the salvation of many, so many, that are lost without You. I pray for my coworkers and the salvation of their families. Lord, we know that through the prayers of the saints that many lives can be changed, and will be changed, and this will ultimately lead to the changing of the world. Sounds hard? But I don't think so. We can do all things through You Lord, who gives us strength.

Be Blessed!!! In His Grip and Loving It!!

Jeff
